Sebastião da Manga is a company with over 03 decades of experience in the market. Its founder was SEBASTIÃO MARTINS DE ARAÚJO, who started his activities, selling fruits in open markets, where he was known as “Sebastião da Manga”. Currently, the company has seven farms with more than 630 hectares in production. And six companies, being them in Brazil and Europe, generating more than 300 direct jobs.
The directly responsible ones for the production are Sebastião Araújo and Robson Araújo, who administrate the seven farms of the group, which are located in the São Francisco Valley. The commercial department is coordinated by Ronaldo Araújo.

Production
Currently, the company has more than 630 hectares of production with more than 280,000 mango trees, producing more than 30,000 tons of mango per year. The ten farms of the group are located in Vale do São Francisco in the cities of Petrolina, Juazeiro and Casa Nova, where the weather conditions are favorable for the cultivation.
Sixty percent of this production is commercialized in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The other forty percent is distributed in São Paulo, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, to our subsidiary in Europe and to other countries in the world.

Since the accomplishment of the required marketing standards by the certifying agents became a fact, it has been possible to expand the SEBASTIÃO DA MANGA company to the international market.Currently, in addition to the internal market, we also export to Europe and Canada.
Today the company already exports more than 10 containers weekly and expected to reach 30 containers weekly by the year 2020.

In Brazil, our customers are large supermarket chains, such as: GUANABARA, MUNDIAL, PREZUNIC, EXTRA, REDE SUPERMARKET, OBA HORTIFRUTI et al., which are supplied with the mango, SEBASTIÃO DA MANGA‘s main product, in three varieties: Tommy, Palmer and Espada. We also provide other fruit and vegetables, for instance: passion fruit, lemon, dry coconut, pineapple, avocado, graviola, yellow melon, sweet potato, yams, onion et al .
In Europe, we have three distribution points, one at The Netherlands in the city of Rotterdam, another at Spain in the city of Algeciras and at Portugal in the city of Porto.
